“We just love this show because there’s nothing like it anywhere … it is so worth the drive.” That’s what people were telling The Times on Saturday, January 23, about the 13th Annual Gardening Show by the Porter County Master Gardeners, which was an official Indiana Bicentennial Event. Attendance was off the charts, satisfaction was high, and Hoosier state history was front and center. From the story: “Maureen Phillips, of the Porter County Master Gardeners — which co-sponsors the show with the Purdue University Cooperative Extension Service — said this year’s theme, Celebrating Our Roots, ties in with the Indiana Bicentennial Celebration, which officially endorsed the show as a Legacy Project.” To read the whole story and view a gallery of photos from The Times, click here.
